NaaS...

The Transformation that is NaaS (Network as a Service) is to design, plan, supply, implement, operate and maintain Telecommunications infrastructure on behalf of our customers, in much the same way a Towerco supplies the passive infrastructure.
 
KSSI will be responsible for suppling all the Active Infrastructure required (with the customer Agreement) on an OPEX base only, therefore there is a monthly Service Fee associated with the Active ENodeB's (regardless of the NaaS solution agreed upon) providing Service, these Elements are managed and reported against on a monthly basis in accordance with the agreed SLA's and KPI's

All NaaS solutions come with a complete set of Services from KSSI, this is none negotiable as the infrastructure remains the property of KSSI for the duration of the Agreement, for more information on KSSI Services check out the Service & Consulting page on our web site or contact us directly.

4G...

4G is a loose term for the fourth generation of cellular communications, offering speeds that are about 10 times faster than they are on current third-generation, or 3G, networks. Its higher data speeds could make smartphones much more comparable to PCs, giving them better multimedia and gaming capabilities

4G is the fourth generation of broadband cellular network technology, succeeding 3G, and preceding 5G. A 4G system must provide capabilities defined by ITU in IMT Advanced. Potential and current applications include amended mobile web access, IP telephony, gaming services, high-definition mobile TV, video conferencing, and 3D television.

5G is the 5th generation of mobile networks, a significant evolution of todays 4G LTE networks.  5G has been designed to meet the very large growth in data and connectivity of today’s modern society, the internet of things with billions of connected devices, and tomorrow’s innovations. 5G will initially operate in conjunction with existing 4G networks before evolving to fully standalone networks in subsequent releases and coverage expansions.

In addition to delivering faster connections and greater capacity, a very important advantage of 5G is the fast response time referred to as latency.
Latency is the time taken for devices to respond to each other over the wireless network. 3G networks had a typical response time of 100 milliseconds, 4G is around 30 milliseconds and 5G will be as low as 1 millisecond. This is virtually instantaneous opening up a new world of connected applications.

NB IoT...

NarrowBand-Internet of Things (NB-IoT) is a standards-based low power wide area (LPWA) technology developed to enable a wide range of new IoT devices and services. NB-IoT significantly improves the power consumption of user devices, system capacity and spectrum efficiency, especially in deep coverage. Battery life of more than 10 years can be supported for a wide range of use cases.

New physical layer signals and channels are designed to meet the demanding requirement of extended coverage – rural and deep indoors – and ultra-low device complexity. Initial cost of the NB-IoT modules is expected to be comparable to GSM/GPRS. 

The underlying technology is however much simpler than today’s GSM/GPRS and its cost is expected to decrease rapidly as demand increases.Supported by all major mobile equipment, chipset and module manufacturers, NB-IoT can co-exist with 2G, 3G, and 4G mobile networks. 

It also benefits from all the security and privacy features of mobile networks, such as support for user identity confidentiality, entity authentication, confidentiality, data integrity, and mobile equipment identification. The first NB-IoT commercial launches have been completed and global roll out is expected by the end of 2025.
