KSSI has developed our Access Routers to work with our LTE and 5G solutions and together with our manufacturing partner we are able to provide carrier grade routers that deliver the performance and quality our customers demand.
The KSSI Access or Edge Routers come with a variety of solution from the basic Managed Router:
KSSI P4L with a CPU: 4-Core 1GHz, RAM 1GB DDR3, Storage 4GB comes with 1 Serial Port, 4 LAN Ports (10/100/1000) and 1 SFP Port capable of VLAN, Firewall, Qos, VPN, plus...
KSSI uses the following routers, depending upon the specific circumstances or needs:
1. KSSI P4G CPU: 4-Core 1.2GHz, RAM 1GB DDR3, Storage 4GB comes with 1 Serial Port, 4 Gigabit Ports (10/100/1000) and 1 SFP Port capable of VLAN, Firewall, Qos, VPN, plus...
2. KSSI P8G CPU: 4-Core 1.6GHz, RAM 2GB DDR3, Storage 8GB comes with 1 Serial Port, 8 Gigabit Ports (10/100/1000) and 1 SFP Port capable of VLAN, Firewall, Qos, VPN, plus...
3. KSSI P16G CPU: 4-Core 1.6GHz, RAM 2GB DDR3, Storage 8GB comes with 1 Serial Port, 16 Gigabit Ports (10/100/1000) and 1 SFP Port capable of VLAN, Firewall, Qos, VPN, plus...
KSSI has an agreement with Arista via our partner CWTechnologies to procure, supply, deliver and Operate the Edge, Aggregation and Core IP Routers for KSSI.
These net centric services and their delivery will need next-generation routing architectures that are flexible, agile and resilient. Arista has pioneered application of cloud networking principles of scale-out, simplify, software-driven networking. Routing transformations based on these principles are delivered on Arista's 7280R/R2/R3 Universal Leaf as well as 7500R/R2/R3, 7800R3 Universal Spine platforms, powered by Arista EOS® and CloudVision®. Customers can leverage these platforms for roles that require high performance routing, combined with high port density and deep buffers, integrated DWDM with wire-speed encryption managed via cloud automation, which legacy router platforms are not able to offer.
Arista's portfolio allows KSSI's customers the following benefits:
A choice of high performance platforms from Arista's market leading 100G/400G portfolio for variety of use cases - Controller based traffic engineering, peering, business VPNs, core routing, and more
Lower OpEx by leveraging native programmability and DevOps workflow integration for consistent automation for compute and networking deployments whether it is in peering, edge, data center or WAN interconnect. The consistent operational model is delivered via single EOS image across all platforms and CloudVision to help deliver modern automation, compliance, telemetry and analytics
KSSI has an agreement with Aviat via our partner CWTechnologies to procure, supply, deliver and Operate the Microwave Solutions. The KSSI / Aviat licensed PTP (Point to Point) and PMP (Point to MultiPoint) microwave combines the inherent cost-efficiencies of all KSSI Solutions. The point-to-multipoint (PMP) architecture and the carrier-grade services of licensed spectrum offers the optimum business case for Access Network (either Mobile or FWA) backhaul and enterprise access networks (FWA).
Increasingly fibre and alternative wireless technologies don’t create a business case to warrant the huge CAPEX investment. The reasons why are clear, with fibre and point-to-point (PTP), the drawbacks are higher cost and slower deployment time; with sub 6GHz, it’s the lack of quality of service and scalability, however the Licensed PMP provides not only the capacity, quality of service and a quick time to market your customers demand, but delivers cost savings which accelerate network profitability.
PMP microwave connects multiple sites from a single hub - the KSSI / Aviat offers unparalleled price, performance and capacity. With high capacity600Mb/s per link and up to 14.4Gb/s per hub site.Guaranteed quality of service, lower costs and increased ROI
Range can be up to 20km (frequency and deployment area dependent)
